Tonight, this Rattled Beats Special is a tribute to Hope Banales Moreno, a wonderful aunt who shared many stories with me as a child and adult. There were many memorable moments with my aunt, though the time she visit me while I was living in San Diego, was a very special one. While having dinner at a restaurant in Old Town, San Diego, my aunt shared stories about our heritage and even requested the mariachi trio to play a few songs. In tonight’s Rattled Beats Special, those mariachi songs will appear on the second segment. For the main blues segment, we are featuring blues musicians and bands with their tracks that best represents her.
In this Special show we will be featuring Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps, JJ Grey And Mofro, Carolyn Wonderland, Buddy Guy, Becky Barksdale, Slam Allen, Lisa Mann, and Bad Brad & The Fat Cats to name a few.
